Strawberry Bavarian Pie

1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
4 Tblsp. melted butter
Mix crust, bake in 9” pan at 375° for 12 minutes.
1 Tsp. unflavored gelatin
? cup sugar
¼ cup cold water
1 cup cream whipped
1½ cups hulled strawberries
Strawberries for garnishing
Soak gelatin in water for 3 minutes then heat in double boiler till gelatin dissolves. Chop berries and add sugar. Pour dissolved gelatin over strawberries. Chill slightly. Fold whipped cream slowly into fruit mixture, pour into crust and chill. Yum, yuea! Note- for best results use Tony Andrews strawberries, d'ya hear?

Strawberry Dream Pie

Crust
23 Ritz crackers (crushed)
½ cup pecans chopped
3 egg whites
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar and beat until well mixed. Fold in other ingredients. Bake in well greased pie plate for 30 minutes at 350°. Cool.

Filling

1 cup whipped cream (Dream Whip is great)
2 tsp. sugar
Add sugar to cream; cut up 1 cup fresh berries and fold into cream. Pile high on crust and chill. Frozen berries may be used (drain well). (Delicious and yummy)

Strawberry Chiffon Pie

Prepare 1½ cups sliced berries, add ½ cup sugar, let
stand ½ hour.
¼ cup cold water
¼ cup sugar
¼ tsp. salt
1 tblsp. unflavored gelatin
3 egg yolks
¼ cup lemon juice
¼ cup sugar
3 egg whites
Soften gelatin in cold water, beat egg yolks and add M4 sugar and lemon juice. Cook over boiling water, stirring constantly until thick. Add softened gelatin to hot mixture; stir until dissolved. Chill until thick but not set. Fold berries into gelatin mixture. Add salt to egg whites and beat until stiff. Fold into gelatin mixture, pour into baked pastry shell Chill until set.

Strawberry Tarts

8 tart shells, (made out of your favorite pie crust
mix)
Cook 1 pkg. vanilla pudding with 1% cups milk, remove from heat and add 2 tblsp. of butter, let cool.
1 Quart of strawberries: wash 8 hull berries, crush
1 cup berries and set aside for glaze, add 2 tblsp.of confectionery sugar to remaining whole and set aside.
Glaze - ½ cup granulated sugar - 1½ tblsp. cornstarch - ½ tsp. lemon juice - Add to crushed berries and cook over medium heat until thick and dear. Press through sieve, cool about 15 minutes. Fill. tart shells with 2 tbisp. pudding, add whole berries to each shell, spoon berry glaze on top, chill thoroughly and serve.

Strawberry Daiquiri

1½ Oz. rumm (light)
1 tsp. sugar syrup
½ cup crushed ice
8 fresh strawberries
1 dash lemon juice
1 dash Contreau
Put in blender and mix until foamy. “Drink in good health”

Strawberry Cake

1 pkg. Yellow Cake mix
¾ cup oil
3 oz. pkg. strawberry
4 eggs
Jello
2 tbisp. flour
1 cup chopped nuts
1 pint strawberries (cut in quarters with juice) or 1 10 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries not drained. 350” oven preheated
Grease 10 in. Bundt pan or Angel pan Combine cake mix, Jello powder, oil, nuts, eggs, flour and strawberries. Beat at medium speed 3 minutes. Pour into pan. Bake 1 hour. Let stand in pan for 20 minutes before removing.

Strawberry Treat

1 pkg. sour cream
¼ cup brown sugar
Mix well
1 cup strawberries, washed 8 hulled.
Fold strawberries into sour cream mix. Serve in champagne glasses.

Strawberry Swirl

(yield 20 ½ cup servings)
1 qt ice cold milk
1 can (6 0z.) frozen lemonade
1 pint strawberry ice cream
Beat above ingredients well. Blend in 1 qt. ice cold ginger ale and 1 cup crushed strawberries. Serve cold.

Mile High Strawberry Pie

1 pint strawberries (cut up in quarters with juice) or 110 0z. pkg. frozen
? tsp. salt
¾ cupsugar
½ cup heavy cream
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbs. lemon juice
1 baked 9 or. 10 inch pie shell
Place berries (if frozen, defrost) sugar, egg whites, lemon juice, and salt in large mixing bowl of electric mixer. Beat at medium speed for 15 minutes or until stiff and mixture holds shape. Whip cream and vanilla and add to strawberry mixture. Pile lightly in shell. Freeze overnight.

Fresh Strawberry Parfait DIET

In a medium bowl with a potato masher crush enough strawberries to make 2 cups (about one
quart) crushed strawberries and juice. Pour into 1½ quart saucepan, eveilly sprinkle 2 tablespoons sugar and one envelope of unflavored gelatin over berries. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until gelatin is completely dissolved, about 3 minutes. Scoop mixture into 44 0z. parfait or dessert glasses. Refrigerate until set. Served with a dollop of frozen whipped topping.

A Great Party Drink Strawberry Ice

2 qts. strawberries, washed and hulled, puree in blender.
1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, boil together 5 minutes, cool. Combine with strawberry puree, stir in juice of 1 lemon, pour into trays and freeze to mush, stirring occasionally. Serves 4. to 6.

Special After - Dinner Treat

Place a small glass bowl on large glass plate. Fill with dry vermouth. Circle .bowl with heavy ring of confectionery sugar. Place strawberries with nice green caps on outer edge of plate. Dip berry in vermouth, roll in confectionery sugar and ENJOY.

Strawberries and Wine

Wash and clean berries.
Place.in large bowl and sugar to taste
Cover with Zinfandel wine, let sit at room temperature for 3 hours and serve.

Strawberry Pie

4 tblsp. strawberry jello
1 cup sugar
4 tblsp. cornstarch
1 cup water
Combine all ingredients and cook until clear. Place strawberries into baked pie shell. Pour mixture over berries and chill. Served topped with whipped cream.

Strawberry Ice Cream

1¼ cup sugar
3 eggs lightly beaten
dash salt
3 cups heavy cream
3 tbisp. flour
1 pint (2 cups)
1½ cup milk
strawberries
Corribine 1 cup sugar, salt and flour, add milk gradually. Cook over medium heat, stirring until mixture thickens and bubbles, remove from heat. Stir ½ mixture slowly into beaten eggs in medium bowl, stir back into remaining mixture in saucepan. Cook stirring constantly for one minute. Cool inlarge bowl. Stir in cream 8 .chill. Mash strawberries, stir in ½ cup sugar /.blend strawberries with mixture and freeze. Enjoy to your hearts content.

Strawberry Mold

2 pkg. Strawberry Jello
3 bananas mashed (ripe) .
1 can crushed pineapple and juice
11b. or 4 qt. strawberries, sliced
16 oz. (1 lb.) sour cream (or cream whip)
Dissolve gelatin as directions, cool, add strawberries, allow to set partially in fridge. Add bananas and pineapple (it sets very quickly) and return to fridge for 5 min. Pour half of mixture into a 13X9X2 pan. Spread sour cream or cool Whip and place remaining mixture on top of cream. Return to fridge and let set for an hour. Very good as a salad or dessert, (try it, you'll like it).

Strawberry Champagne Sundaes

1 quart strawberries
1½ tsp. lemon juice
4 cup sugar (or to taste)
Strawberry ice cream
1 tbisp. corn starch
¼ tsp. salt
1 cup chilled Pink
Champagne
Wash strawberries quickly in ice water; drain well; remove caps. Slice berries; add sugar; let stand until syrup forms. Measure 1 - 3 cup syrup; blend into cornstarch and salt. Cook over low heat until mixture comes to boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute, remove from heat; cool Add Champagne. When bubbles subside, stir in sliced strawberries and lemon juice. Chill in covered container. Spoon over scoops of strawberry ice cream. Makes about 2½ cups sauce.

Strawberry Preserves

Wash and drain well 1 qt. berries. Hull berries. Add ¼ cup lemon juice, boil for 3 minutes. Add 3 - 4 cups sugar, boil 6 minutes. Cool, then pour into sterile jars. Store in cool dry place. Delicious on ice cream, cakes and english muffins.

Jam

To make jam and jelly follow directions on Certo or Sure-Jet package.

Strawberry Royal Cake

1 pkg. yellow cake
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 pint strawberries
1 pint whipping cream
1 cup strawberry glaze (in Tart Recipe)
Bake cake in large loaf pan (glass). Cool — mix pudding and spread on top of cake. Cut berries in half and place on top, add glaze. Garnish with whipped cream, chill and serve.

Andrews Strawberry Daquiri for Parties

6 oz. rum
1 can frozen lemonade
1 Ige. banana
¼ cup sugar syrup
1 tsp. Contreau
1 quart strawberries — cleaned 8 chopped
Mix all together in blender till foamy. Pour over ¼ cup crushed ice per serving. Serve and enjoy.

Elaine's Cheese & Strawberry Cake

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 pint strawberries
1 container soft cream cheese
1 cup strawberry glaze (in Strawberry Tart Recipe)
Bake and cool cake. Spread cream cheese ontop. Place berries on top, add strawberry glaze. Especially good.

Strawberry Rhubarb Pie

2 cups cut up strawberries
3 cups cut up rhubarb
1 ¼ cup sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 tblsp. instant tapioca pudding
Line pie plate with crust. Alternate rhubarb an strawberries. Add sugar, nutmeg and tapioca pudding. Cover with top crust. Cut inserts on upper crust. Bake at 400» for 45 minutes.
